Play Is Power: Design Your Own Climate Game

In this hour-long workshop, participants will be guided step-by-step through the process of designing their very own Climate Game: a tabletop, role-playing, or outdoor game that explores a climate issue of their choosing. We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the core elements of game design, then work together on theme ideation, goal setting, rapid prototyping, and playtesting.  Workshops begin on the hour at 1pm and 2pm, though those arriving at 1pm are welcome to stay for the entire session to continue working on their game. No prior experience in game design is required and materials will be provided.
